CVD-107 Security Sensor

Purpose

Security detector CVD -107 (hereinafter referred to as the detector) is intended for use as a security alarm system, and provides for detection of a person crossing the detection area (hereinafter referred to as DA), and is characterized by a small width of required exclusion area.

The detector components:

  • transmitter (Tx) - 1 pc.;
  • receiver (Rx) - 1 pc.

Structurally, the receiver and transmitter are made in sealed plastic bodies equipped with a mounting bracket. The bracket design provides for orienting the receiver and transmitter in space and rotating the body by an angle of ±10° in any direction.

Tx and Rx are located on the opposite sides of secured area.  Tx emits electromagnetic waves in the direction of Rx. Rx receives these waves, converts them into an electrical signal, and analyzes this signal.

A person, when crossing DA, causes the signal modulation at Rx input, which in its turn generates an alarm. The signal modulation depth and signal waveform depend on the height and weight of the person crossing the site, the site topography and movement speed.

The technical feature of the detector is a narrow antenna directional pattern. This feature provides for increased immunity to moving objects in the immediate vicinity of DA axis. A relatively high operating frequency also determines the small width of DA.
